Never alone, spend time with God through prayer

Sometimes we feel so helpless, and we don’t know what to do. We must remember, we’re not alone. Jesus promised not to leave us (Matt 28:20). I pray we remember His wonderful promises.
Look at what’s happening around us. Take a look at the past recent earthquakes. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/quakes_all.html
From quake to quake, there’s war, there’s famine. As Christians, we are strengthened by God when we seek Him in prayer. I am at times guilty of this, not spending quality time with God in prayer. What am I waiting for, what are we waiting for? There’s work to be done. Heavenly Father, may your kingdom come upon this earth, because things will just break and fall apart when there’s no You.

John 1:12
12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Since we are the children of God, it means..

Acts 2:3
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

…was not just a one time event, God promises His Holy Spirit to all those who will trust in Him.

Surely, children weren’t made for the streets. Surely nations were not made for war. Surely this can’t be what God saw. Surely faith without action is dead.

May the kingdom of God rest in our hearts. May we live to love a world that’s broken.  Let’s go beyond religion, change the world by the power of God’s name. Only Jesus’ name is a shelter for the hurting, only Jesus’ name can redeem the undeserving.
