God and Freewill

I saw the following question while browsing the web, and so too found a great answer elsewhere. So I’ll just post it here for reference.
Question:
If God knows the future then is freewill predetermined?
Freewill therefore is impossible unless the concept of God doesn’t exist. That is the only logical conclusion because if God knows the outcome of every situation and every situation is going to end the way the God predicted it, then it therefore leads to the result that the person didn’t choose the outcome but instead that God planned it.
Answer:
“God knows everything, yes. The first thing we must … Read moreGod and Freewill

Trouble is Coming

Many are under the impression that once someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, they suddenly get this “no more trouble for me armor”.  On the contrary, this is not so at all. When I received Jesus Christ, I felt as if I had another chance with life to fix all the damage that I had done. I was granted God’s Holy Spirit and He became and is my guide to the life I live now.
John 7:
38 “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” 39 By this he meant the … Read moreTrouble is Coming

Proclaim the Bible

After centuries of attacks on the Holy Bible, the Bible still stands strong today, and so it will continue to be proclaimed forever more. Why? Simply because it is the Word of the living God. Thus one thing we ought to remember is that we believers needn’t ever argue on the validity of God’s Words. After many attacks the Bible has proven Itself to be historically sound.
(John 17:17 [KJV])
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

Therefore, we only need to proclaim the Bible, It’ll defend Itself like a lion out of its cage so too defends itself.

Love IS

There are times when I fail to follow this law like the way my Lord so does, so is.
John 13:35 “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
I do believe when we fail to love we reject Jesus Christ, because He is love. Though it may not have been our intentions, but ultimately this is what happens. Sadly.
Let’s remind ourselves shall we?
1 Corin 13:
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, b but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, … Read moreLove IS

Seek Find Not

There are those that seek Jesus with all their heart and others whom seek Him with dishonourable intentions. However, in the act of their wickedness they come to see Him and find out that they could only ‘condemn’ Him for the love that He is. Moreso, will even come to find that the magnitude of His love, grace and mercy far outweighs the discrete ideology of the mind.
Either way, all tongues shall confess that Jesus is Lord. One way or the other.  🙂
(Phil 2:11)
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the … Read moreSeek Find Not

Cross of Laminin

God holds our lives together in more ways than we even realize.
Take a look at the follow photo:

“Laminins are major proteins in the basal lamina (formerly improperly called “basement membrane”), a protein network foundation for most cells and organs. The laminins are an important and biologically active part of the basal lamina, influencing cell differentiation, migration, adhesion as well as phenotype and survival.”
Basically, Laminin is the substance in our body that helps in our bodies’ adhesiveness or “holds us together”. Funny how its shape is in the form of the cross.
Was just reading an article and the author stated that … Read moreCross of Laminin

Faith-Worry Scale

The big bang of the message at service today for myself was that our faith in God depends on the amount of worry we put into our lives, our problems. Basically, if one worries less, then their faith in God goes up. On the other hand, if one worries a lot, that is if their worry rate is high, then their faith in God goes down. I should really be using the 1st person plural, because I’m sure that many of us have indeed worried a bit too much about our problems, and not trusting our Lord Jesus Christ to … Read moreFaith-Worry Scale

Stuck On You Lord

Even everyday love songs can bring me in mind of my Saviour Jesus. Of course, not all songs can be fitted as such. When ever I listen to the song Stuck On You – 3T cover, all I can think of is Jesus. I just had to share. 🙂

Lord I’m stuck on You
I’ve got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can’t lose
Guess I’m on my way
Lord I needed a friend
And the way I feel now I guess I’ll be with You ’til the end
Guess I’m on my way
Mighty glad You stayed
Jesus I’m so stuck on You
I … Read moreStuck On You Lord

Our Father

Today at service I learnt one of the most interesting things about the Our Father prayer. Jesus taught us that prayer, well for the lack of a better word, it contains the exact structure or format we need when we come to Him in prayer. I don’t remember the exact wording of the preacher, but I guess I’m not supposed to. So let’s take a look.
Luke 11:
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in … Read moreOur Father

Morning Motivation

Someone forwarded this to me, thought I’d post it. 🙂
When I woke up this morning lying in bed, I was asking myself;
What are some of the secrets of success in life?
I found the answer right there, in my very room.

The fan that said:
“Be cool.”

The roof that said:
“Aim High.”

The window that said:
“See the world.”

The clock that said:
“Every second is precious”

The mirror that said:
“Reflect before you act.”

The calendar that said:
“Be up-to-date.”

The door that said:
“Push hard for your goals.”

AND NOT TO FORGET THE CARPET THAT SAID…….
KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY.
Psalm 65:1-2 “Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be … Read moreMorning Motivation
