May I be one after Your heart oh LORD, may I worship You in all that I do, all that I say, all that I think. Rid me of this heart of stone, and renew me with a heart of Your Spirit. For You are my God, and I am Your servant. Use me for Your glory, discipline me and rid me of pride. Hold me steady on the path You have chosen and deliver me from all evil. For in You alone LORD can I find a home.
Oh my LORD and my King, life is meaningless without Your guidance. Love exists not where there is no You. For you are love LORD. You are life. You cause the lilies to grow. You provide the rain and You provide all light. Because of Your goodness, Your mercy and Your infinite power, we have hope in finding strength to move forward. For we do not find strength of our own will, but as always, through Your will, and may it continue to be done.
What is happiness? Just a passing emotion. What is joy? A peaceful rest found in knowing You LORD. How wonderful it is to know You. Give me Your daily Word oh LORD. For 40 days and 40 nights without consuming food sprung from the Earth You lived on the truth of Yourself, and made us know that through Your Word we can defeat the evil one.
Out of my own will oh LORD I bow before You. At Your feet is where I want to be. My spirit finds rest in Your presence oh LORD. Always and forever my God, with You I will stay.
